Just wanted to say that this week has been a blur of milestones for Gabriel. He is crawling faster than ever, got his 5th tooth, is clapping his hands,shimmying along furniture like nobodys business, standing up unsupported and he's even taken a few steps. Now, I don't believe any of the steps he's taken with out support stemmed from a conscious decision to walk, but more a overhaul of excitement. He knew he did something awesome when he stood up alone, so he moved the fastest way possible to Jeff or I for a congratulations hug.
Good job Gabriel!
Now I'm going to make sure the safety lock is on the stairs.
Ever wonder “What was she thinking?” Rather than make you ask, I’ve decided to publish a blog. This will combine my most random thoughts and ideas. How exciting! You want them to walk so bad but later realize you are in for big trouble when they can. Same thing with potty training when they have to go to the bathroom when you are in the middle of the checkout at the store. You wish they were still in diapers.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Gabe can wear diapers til he's 5, but start using the toilet when he's 2? Oh wait, I can't afford diapers for 5 years! :)
